Jennifer Molina
Jennifer Molina, executive editor for the Healthy State Collaborative Local Journalism Center, is an award winning journalist and documentary film maker. Most recently she was senior video producer for Newsweek.com where she produced and edited stories on topical, socio-political, cultural and medical issues such as the changing face of Compton, California, health care in Appalachia, and issues from the national campaign trail. Prior to Newsweek, Molina worked for the United Nations producing and editing promotional videos as well as developing Web sites for affiliated organizations within the UN such as the World Food Programme, the International Center in the Preservation & Conservation of Cultural Property, the International Fund for Agricultural Development, and the Wildlife Conservation Society. She holds a BA in History from San Francisco State University and a post graduate degree in Film and Video from New York University.
